Although actively operating around 175 stores worldwide (111 domestic and 64 international) as of 2023, their back operations process was predominantly manual in nature. This approach led to prolonged order completion times, challenges in order management and tracking, and a higher rate of errors due to human oversight.

Our team was approached by Lotte Mart to evaluate their current backend processes and explore areas of opportunities. The goal was to move towards a digitally assisted environment which would help Lotte mart accommodate for an increase in orders/sales by 2x or 3x, thereby helping them achieve their plan of becoming the No. 1 online grocery store in Vietnam in the next 3-5 years.
