Tamkeen (Arabic: تمكين, "enablement") is an semi-autonomous government agency in Bahrain. Founded in 2006, it aims at empowering the private sector to drive economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain by providing programs and support for enterprises and individuals. This is in line with the Kingdom’s collective efforts and comprehensive vision towards creating a thriving business-friendly ecosystem with a highly skilled Bahraini workforce.
